Elementalkin are people with close associations to one of the Elemental Planes (or elemental subdivisions of the Inner Plane, depending on where you learned planar cartography). Some worlds lie close enough to the Elemental planes that some seepage is inevitable and those worlds are largely populated by Elementalkin. Some planes have very strong rifts/gates/portals to several Elemental planes, and on those worlds there are commonly members of some or all of the Elementalkin.
