Fae Troll

The Fae have long stood throughout the planes as an integrated society. Gnomes build and create, the Sidhe lead, the Pixie discover and the Satyrs wage war. However, in those wars there is always a need for protection. While the Satyrs are phenomenal at attacking, their battle frenzy often leads them to a single mindedness not conducive to the protection of those who may be under their charge. It is for that reason the Fae Trolls stepped up so long ago. They are the Shield of the Fae, protecting them through out the planes and over countless millennia.

Advantages:

+2 Permanent Body

Can buy Burst of Strength (6 SP)

+1 Strength

Can use Defend once per reset for any Fae within weapons reach (or arm's reach if unarmed).

Disadvantages:

Species Makeup (Blue skin, Single horn on forehead)

Cannot attack other Fae unless attacked by them first

Powers:

• Lend Strength: May give any party member +1 Strength for 1 hour or a Module
• Lineage of Defense: This will allow a Fae Troll to use Deflect and Parry once each at no cost per reset. This works even if the class cannot normally purchase these skills.
• Noble Blood: Somewhere in your lineage was a hero of legend. You can use the Massive Carrier once per encounter or 5 minutes. (Requires larger than normal horn make up)

Heroic:

• Greater Lineage of Defense (requires Lineage of Defense): This works as the Champion power Strong Arm.
• Bonds of Loyalty: You are immune to compulsion effects that would order you to harm your friends.
